Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets) is one of the High Holy Days and Appointed Times of the LORD. This same day is also known as Rosh Hashanah, which is the first day of the civil calendar.
The holiday begins a 10-day period, known as the Days of Awe which leads up to Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement). This is a time of turning our hearts toward the Lord in repentance and making amends with our fellow man.
This is also a time of celebrating the new year, with hope for a sweet year and for being inscribed and sealed in the book of life!
Our celebration will begin with a prayer service in the Sanctuary followed by a time of food and fellowship.
