Morning Prayer Service for the Day of Atonement
Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year. Traditionally, the day is spent in prayer and fasting, beginning before sunset on the evening before Yom Kippur and ending after nightfall on the day of Yom Kippur.
The morning prayer service will include a discussion of the Temple service on the Day of Atonement. It is customary to wear white.
