Parashat Vayeshev
The story of Joseph gives us a picture of how God raises up a savior for Israel, and we see the same pattern demonstrated in the life of Yeshua. In both stories we see the savior being brought low, only to be raised up by the hand of God!
…he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Yeshua HaMoshiach is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
