Parashat Devarim
This week’s exploration of Deuteronomy highlights the constant battle between fear and faith in our lives. We see how the Israelites’ fear, stemming from a negative report by spies, resulted in their exile and wandering. In contrast, faith is presented as a deep trust in God’s character and promises, capable of transcending circumstances. We are called to choose faith over fear by actively recalling God’s past faithfulness, identifying and confronting our fears, and trusting in His promises for our future.
