A Thread of Hope
The position of faith is not a denial of the situation or circumstances because there can be very real difficulty. Rather, the position of faith is being able to see beyond the problem and see the potential for good because we have a reason for true hope.
Emptying Oneself
Yeshua calls us to abide in Him, for apart from Him we can do nothing. In this He calls us to be like Him, emptying ourselves of our ego, trusting in God and allowing Him to work through us!
Many Parts, One Body
Each of the twelve tribes brought identical gifts for the Tabernacle, but each tribe had a different reason for bringing the various items, each of them related to the particular tribe’s special mission within the unified national destiny.
What Are We Preparing For?
God knows what we need, and He has given that to us through His Word and His Spirit, which were both given at Shavuot (Pentecost). In the season of Shavuot, God fulfills the fourth statement of redemption – that He will take the Children of Israel as a people and be God to them.
Our City of Refuge
God has provided a city of refuge in the person of Yeshua, our High Priest in the heavenly Temple, through Whom we have atonement by His death and hope in His resurrection.
The Rock From Which You Were Hewn
In this time of trial in our nation, we as believers in Yeshua are called to act according to the nature of Yeshua, the Rock from which we were hewn. We are to act from a foundation of love and desire for peace between God and man.
God is an Ever-Present Help in Trouble
Though we have the assurance that God is with us, we still face challenges. It’s important in these trying times that we not lose heart. We need to prepare both spiritually and physically for the days ahead.
Overcoming Offense
In all of that we endure, we have the choice to become those who lift up or those who tear down. We must guard our hearts and minds, always pursuing truth and goodness out of a base of love and peace, for the love of God can redeem!
Where We Fix Our Eyes
After the failure of the spies, God renewed the hope of the Children of Israel. When hope was lost, He called them to return and fix their eyes upon Him!
Not Through Might, But By the Spirit
We overcome obstacles and challenges by the Spirit. We live, truly live, by the Spirit. And through the renewal of the mind we find hope for tomorrow!
